March 18 not only marks the end of the weekend.
It marked the end of the G12 conference as well.
I seriosly feel it... Its been a wonderful conference, one that has been challenging, inspiring, and made me want to run this G12 vision together with the church, against all odds. I admire my pastors and thank them for all that they have gone through for the church in their lives and even in their families. Lord, thank you for my pastors. I've a cleare picture of where my church is heading now, and I am no lost sheep, I am one inspired sheep, One who is willing to go forth to Build Families! There is just so much that I've learnt from God. And, I thank God that this week is a time for me to slow down, and evaluate and start anew! A New Beginning! Is gooD! :)
But most of all, I love my God. I love how he can care for the whole wide world and is still so concern about me.
Before the G12 conference, I went to Sentosa with the cell group! Man, A jolly good time and a really sunny day! I must remember this day cause this is the first time I am on an outing with them, and 8 years down the road, when they have become grown woman and man of God, we will reflect and taste of God's goodness in their lives together... :)

She's my current tuition student! :) But oh Please, she more than a student to me! We clique more ways than 1 !! :) Its not only saturday! we talked almost everyday?!?!?! so it makes waking up on a saturday morning so much easier! :) She very pretty hor?! and her hair is the shorter version of mine! We clip our hair the same way! :) Okay..Yah...and we're both photo whores, readily taking pictures at Starbucks! :) Okay lah..please, this was the last few minutes of tuition lah...we were studying the entire time before these photos were taken okay! :) hehe

On saturday, it was their (Apple and Brennyer) 1st month Anniversary!

Shi Hui Taught me how to make the heart shape with the straw...so I send them my blessing by giving them the heart that I made! :) Heheheheheheh
Then Shi Hui and I went to Parkway to shop for necklace! Coz I saw some and really liked them very much! :p..and since she was queen of accessories and knew Parkway at the back of her hands... Off we went! :) But, the shop was so crowded and I did not want to squeeze my big backside in...so we continued walking..and then Chiwern Arrived...so we went to meet him ... So this was the first time they met! :) 10 March 2007 is an important date! :)

Then, Chiwern passed me this really pretty gift...I open it! And found the keys to his heart!!
I was very happy not only cause I received a gift, but he knew what I wanted and got it - something prettier than what I had in mind! :) Thanks! :) You really made me feel very loved! I know I did not express it very well! But I love it!
But, what I enjoyed more was the time I got to spend with you....
So, on the bus .... I just could not stand it any longer, I decided to give him the gift that I prepared for him. I intended to just hide it in his bag.... but on our way to bugis, I decided to give it to him, to celebrate the news we received on 7th March 2007.
I think I love the gift more than he did! :)
We headed to Action Theatre to see the best actress in the whole wide world! :)
Yes! We went way earlier than expected, so ended up taking silly pictures! :) Seriously, now that i look at the pictures, dear, you're like my best friend ... and you've been seriously amazing...
Well, needless to say, The show was amazing :) , Go catch it! :) And while, Issi and I were catching up after a show, we still get people who comes up and wanna get pictures with her! Like a hot popular star! :) My bestest bestest best friend, You're soon reach what you have been aiming for .... :) Well, I don't have to even ask ... :-) I will always get a picture with her if I want to ! :)

Then, we headed to Tecman bookshop where there was a storewide 30% discount! :) Gosh! :) One of the favourite books we co-shared was the personality book for couples and we spent the next 1 hour at macdonalds just reading it and doing our personality test! Boy! did we have a good laugh! :) And realized how much we've changed and how we shoudl learn to accept each other for who we are :) and adjust our expectations accordingly! :)
Headed to city hall to meet he he Trina, our melbourne turned singapore friend! :) She's changed much..even the laughter changed! :) We're so definetely gonna to keep in touch! :)
Cell group on Sunday is something that I love! And look forward to every sunday! Every time, you come, and you see the kids and how they have grown , and how they are willing to open up more, how much they are willing to give to God more, you get inspired for the coming week again...and all you can pray for them is that God will continue to protect their faith through the trying identity crisis in secondary school, the pressure in JC, and the worldly temptation in University...
This week, I see a breakthrough, in the children's sharing.... that the children are still consistent in their quiet time, I see them being more genuine and more accepting to change... I still don't know what to do, but one thing I know, when I keep my eyes upon you, you will be in our midst. :)

Finally met up with Jasmine and Christopher on Saturday! :) And it was a good, quick catch up! (More coming up at Chris' s place, I guess!)

Then it was dating for us...Its been ages since we caught a movie... and so we caught the movie that I'd really wanted to watch very much "Happy Birthday" ... some part of it got quite slow...with good music playing..but yeah..u get the geez of it ...times like that, I thank God chiwern is with me...coz times like that, we crack stupid jokes, or guess what's coming up next... Life's a lil more exciting like that... *Grinz* Well, popcorn does help as well! :)
After watching the movie, I hugged him real tight and told him that he cannot cannot cannot definetely not go before me....... (those who watched the show will probably understand why I said that), But yes, like what the girl said to the guy were my exact sentiments to him (and is most apt to say during this Valentine's season), "Thank you for standing alongside me in the many seasons of my life, and pulling me up whenever I need that push and hear me cry when I need the shoulder to lean on... Thanks"
On another note, I'm excited about this year's Valentine's because this is the first year we are spending it together, previous year, we were apart geographically... was tormenting, but I had great friends and family with me ( I really thank God for all of you!) ... I wonder what is coming up this year! I'm excited!!
But, we saw something more to celebrate and reminded us of the greatest love of all:

Had Sunday Service and Children's cell as usual... was really feeling lethargic...and I really did not feel like going at all!!! My emotions were kindda taking over me on a Sunday. I thank God that he overcomed the lethargicness for me, and gave the strength for the day! :) Especially , when I led cell, Energy just came to me like nothing! Thank God! I even played "Lao yi Zhua Xiao Ji" with them.. Gosh.... I wonder where I got all that energy from...
This week's lesson was about Fear and Faith. Lesson taken from the passage "Jesus Calms the Storm" so the children folded boats and wrote their concerns... This week made me realize that children understand and ask more questions with object lessons... instead of the preaching method...will keep trying. :) Reading their fears on concerns on the boat really reminded me that they really are real people whose fears and concerns are valid..very valid and should be treated seriously... :) Well, from the above picture, you can see Yi Xuan using the boat as his mask :) It was good fun... *Grinz*
The bond is starting to form between us..and it encourages me to keep praying for them, the atmosphere in cell group is slightly better now ...the children are more co-operative and willing to work together, I pray that God will continue to grow them to become strong men and women in the Lord. They have been an encouragement to me every Sunday...They probably don't read this ,But thank you children! :) I'm starting to love you all more and more :)

For those who have yet to notice, I ALMOST fell of the platform i was standing on... jump jump jump ...until I din realise that I was at the edge... hehehe...Yeah, But... i think NOBODY noticed leh! quite heng! :S
BUT! Apparently, Camera was zooming in on me when I was doing the wrong action la! While everybody were raising their hands, i was happily swaying away! hahahaha ... You can check this out on the FCBC website for our service...but quite embaressing la...but nevermind la! Nothing beats a good laugh! :)
But, I've got to say, it was such an ENJOYABLE experience! Right, Crow!?!?!
Just when I thought, Only Chiwern and I were wearing a couple T-shirt....
Apparently, many of us were in the chinese new year mode! :) Hehehe , And since we were all in the colour of unity, prosperity and blessings, we should never miss the opportunity to take a picture! ! Hee! Sisters in Red! :)
There after, played sardines with the Kid's Cell.. I tell you! It was crazy but so fun!!! Expo is such an open space but you would never have expected that there are sooooooooooo many places to hide! :) hahah
We visited grandma to pass her new year goodies, From the picture, you can see her BEAMING! :) She loves it when we go visit her. In Singapore, grandma is one of the oldies that love us very much...including Chiwern! She is the one that always call and ask how he is, and always always cook extra for him whenever she cooks for us... Grandma really love chiwern :) and Chiwern loves grandma very much too .... Amongst the oldies in the family, chiwern feels most relax around her :)

Anyways, GOOD NEWS! :)
1 more of my colleague accepted Christ! Its great to see them accept Christ 1 by 1! We claim God's victory in Jesus name in MCYS! So, me and another collegue are doing follow up with them, and we're gonna start our weekly prayer and bible study group! I'm so excited leh!! Its like we're really pastors in our marketplace now! YAY! :)
I pray for more and more of God's victory! :)

Starting from Friday night, I went for one of the session for FCBC Santification week..Man, i must say, it was like a new start..
Right from worship, when we started singing "How Great is Our God" ... I just felt in awe of his greatness and his character .... Especially when we sang "Time is in his hands, beginning and the end" .. This moment in my life, I am starting to feel that Time is in control of me, and I am not able to catch up with me... its leaving me breathless and times I feel like "GIMME SOME SPACE TO BREATHE PLEASE!" But, really, if time is in God's hands, What else can he not control? What else is more difficult for him? I reject the thoughts that I need to keep moving along with Time, because my God is a God who is in control, I need only to move along with My God...
There were a few things that Pastor Eugene shared that made me ponder:
"To the extent to which your heart is touched by God, to which your life is reached by God is the entent your tribe, family and relationships will grow." For the word of the Lord has said
"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all
these things will be given to you as well."

How much then, Is my heart touched by God? My heart has been touched and reached, but not open enough for God to make a life-changing impact on those around. Am I salted and lighted enough? No, in fact, by monday usually, I see my light flickering. It shall not remain so, I want my entire being to be taken over by my Lord and my saviour to a point that my every day life is based on this verse

I know, deep in my heart, as I begin to do this, I'll be stepping into the supernatural life that My God has prepared for me :)

This congre, felt very family. The sharing from Pastor William, and the other brothers was clearly their heartfelt sharings, which I have been very blessed by. ;p
Pastor William shared a hard to digest message, yet one that is inspiring, as usual.
The truth was brought forth, without coating with sweet honeyed words, and the truth is that Our Christian walk will be one of sufferings, sharing the suffering in Christ, so that we may be changed from glory to glory.

Its been a long time since the last congregation, and even though I woke up really early this morning for the WORD encounter (6am) , I have no regrets...its been a fulfilling experience..
This congre, felt very family. The sharing from Pastor William, and the other brothers was clearly their heartfelt sharings, which I have been very blessed by. ;p
Pastor William shared a hard to digest message, yet one that is inspiring, as usual.
The truth was brought forth, without coating with sweet honeyed words, and the truth is that Our Christian walk will be one of sufferings, sharing the suffering in Christ, so that we may be changed from glory to glory.
"Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings,
because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
perseverance, character;
and character, hope,
And hope does not disappoint us,
because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us."

All of weilun, Paul and Dennis's sharing were good, many things they said really awaken me from various parts of slumber in my life. I was particularly touched by Paul's testimony at the end of the sharing ... He said that God told him this " 我 都 没有怪你，你为设么怪自己？“ He was referring to the some of the guys he was discipling who decided to drop out of church and not come back... God, in his goodness,understanding that these has made their choice, and it was a choice that even a leader cannot decide for them. But, God knows that many of us are wounded, because of the guilt and the condemnation we put on ourselves... So, the moment Paul Said that, I really broke down. I never knew I was suffering from this guilt.. It was just very subtle, sometimes, you think about people that God has caused to cross your path, and how they have dropped out, I think about the ex-cell group... My heart hurts at the loss of many... I really felt like my hands were bloody from the killing of many spiritual babies .. I really really really hurt from it... I really feel so weak in my own capabilities... God has surfaced this weakness...and this time, I cannot wait to start serving again ....at Kids' Cell, At TYLC! :) He will make me strong in my weaknesses! Yeah! A New Beginning!
At the end of congre, Pastor was prompted to give hugs to those who needed it ...and man, it was such a healing moment for many...
And for me, just being at congre with the whole team again felt great... I really felt that love and family atmosphere, I thank God that he has binded us through the hard and joyful times :) We freely prayed for each other, laughed alongside each other, cried together... and yes, I'm so glad we did it together :) I love each and everyone of you...and really, lets cry together with each other when one is in sorrow, lets take joy and celebrate each other's success too! Del Del, Thanks for your hug....It was a time of closure for me...

Sat Night - Weiseong decided to give Chiwern and Myself a treaT! Not at Banquet Food Court, Not bedok Market, But SUNTEC CITY STEAM BOAT BUFFET!!! :) A lil fattening, but it felt like a pre-chinese new year reunion dinner! Very fun! Thanks Wei Seong! :)

Started off with SOL ... and then help out at aileen's kids Cell and then service, thereafter, celebrated meifang's birthday!! And it was seriously one after another, MAD RUSH! :p
But, yet I enjoyed myself so much.. and felt so fulfilled... It true what was mentioned at the G12 last tuesday, you will be blessed even as you seek to build God's house first. At least for me, i felt blessed in the spirit and through God's affirmation. I enjoy being busy like that...its so much more meaningful... I pray that I'll never lose that joy in serving!
